The combat log currently doesn't provide info that allows one to link absorption to spell and caster. More specifically the absorption doesn't state which spell caused it. So while one can write some heuristics based on previous spell casts it will always be a heuristic because of this. The right way to go about this is to go lobby with Blizzard that they add a combat log entry for this purpose.
