Anyone else having this problem?
Same here.

well, I wanna sync this add on with other then members of the raid with the add on, or at least, I wanna get this add on to record with every member of the raid, any way to do this? It is just rather frustrating with having all the data on 15 different people being different, any ideas?

If everyone in the raid has Recount installed, they'll all sync with you. That said, I've never used syncing, and never seen significant discrepancies between my data and other peoples' data, in PvE raiding at least. There are usually small differences, and I'm not sure why they occur, but I chalk it up to bugs in the combat log system (my own log is sometimes even incomplete for my own actions... i.e. shows the result of a spell, but not that I started casting it, or shows the cast start but not the result), and the differences really aren't big enough to matter.

hmmm, well, saying it should, it has never done that for me....
I end up in the top three on damage on my meter and on my gf's meter who is sitting right next to me i'm 6th and she's in the top three... I asked other members of the raid who have it and everyone's was different, i've never seen this to do anything like synchronising, the only damage meter that has ever done that was SW Stats, that no longer works after 2.4 which is kinda annoying, this is the next best thing to that meter, but I just wish there was some form of synchronising, possibly if it records damage from the combat log, but then compares that to the other recounts in the group, looking at how SW Stats synchronising system worked would be amazing, this is the biggest bad point I have about this add on as I find that really frustrating, the other 1 or 2 possibly things I could call bad could just be me not understand = /

Recount uses a very simple syncing system -- it only broadcasts your data, i.e. what you (and your pets/guardians) dealt and recieved. About your specific examples -- are you a melee class and your girlfriend a ranged class? I've noticed that Blizzard's definition of "visible range" is very buggy, sometimes spectacularly so. On the rare occasion that my healing meter differs significantly from other peoples', I just assume that mine is correct for myself, and everyone else's is correct for their own self, and adjust accordingly.

I committed a new version. Recount now supports /recount pause or a keybind to toggle global data collection. I fixed up a few things here and there and added support for a new module called RecountDeathTrack which shows a timed death list for current or past combat segments.

RecountDeathTrack is a separate download and it looks roughly like this:

The list shows time-stamp since combat start, plus combatant name, tooltip adds last damage taken. Clicking the combatant leads to the standard detailed view. It responds to past recorded combat segments and allows reporting of the list.

It isn't complete yet, I plan to add specific options to the config gui and improve the look some. Input and testing welcome/wanted for this! This is not yet fully WotLK compatible, though most things should work except mouse actions.

Did you download RecountDeathTrack first? If you have you should be able to open it by right or left clicking the total bar (when its shown).
