HeadCount is a World of Warcraft add-on that tracks raid attendance, boss kills, and loot. I (the author) had used CT_RaidTracker for a long time for tracking guild raid attendance and had recently gotten frustrated with the lack of accuracy and errors in usage, thus requiring me to do tracking by hand again which is a burden. HeadCount was created to provide a simpler way to automatically manage and track raid attendance based on player participation.

The HeadCount project page:
http://www.wowace.com/projects/head-count/

HeadCount is available on a number of web sites and is also packaged with the Curse addon installer...
Curse: http://my.curse.com/downloads/wow-ad...ead-count.aspx
WoW Interface: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...HeadCount.html

Please feel free to report bugs, add feature requests, or general comments to improve this mod.

Thanks.

Nice addon. Any chance of allowing this to work in a party as well?

Thanks.

I've thought about adding party tracking during development, but chose not to spend dev time on the feature to get raid attendance tracking more polished. However, I can definitely see the usefulness for some guilds and players. I will add it to the feature wish list.

Currently, I'm working on adding bosskill tracking with raid list snapshots at the time of the kills for guilds that need attendance information per boss kill attempt rather than by total time participated in a raid. I'm also interested in prioritizing getting a simple UI going for tracking loot exclusion because working with the command line is functional, but not as usable as I would prefer.

Nice addon.

Dewdrop-2.0 is missing from Libs folder and embeds.xml
It's needed by FubarPlugin-2.0 so this will probably give errors on installations that run with embedded libraries,
and don't have Fubar installed.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'd actually like to kill the dependency all together eventually, but I'll prioritize fixing this.

Looks good so far, was testing it out in a ZA run last night.

Once you've got boss kill tracking built into it i might have to start using it full time.

On another note, loot exclusion might be handy, but most people are going to be exporting this to things like EQDKP, where you can exclude certain items also, so i guess it's a much of a muchness. One idea for exclusion however i have no idea how you'd go about it, is if you can maybe tag items as being disenchanted, or uh, something, so it ignores items being sent to the enchanter for D/E.

Anywho keep up the good work

Loot exclusion is available via the command line parameters currently by passing in an item link as a parameter. The following shows an example:

Add loot to the exclude list (do not track it): /hc exclude add [Void Crystal]
Remove loot from the exclude list (track it once again): /hc exclude remove [Void Crystal]

I've been thinking about the idea of automatically excluding some of the common items by default (Badge of Justice, Void Crystal, Kael weapons, epic gems), but I am wary about pushing usability assumptions on players.

Thanks for considering it. I rarely raid but often run groups/heroics for badges etc... and would love to use this even if only to track my own loot.

Good defaults are good ergonomics and therefor shouldn't be out of the question. As long as you keep a list of these where users can easily delete them aswell as add them, it should not be a problem at all, but would rather make this addon better than others.
