Why is this 'Sub-Forum' named Grid2?

Why not just Grid? (for posts about Grid and Grid2)

But creating 'Sub-Forums' with proper names....hey, this takes time...!

It used to be called Grid, I thought... If it was named Grid2, though, then I suppose that there is a reason for it. No need to get hissy.

Forum moderators can't create/edit forums. Only admins can.

Both can delete posts though.

Okay. Why are admins create a 'Sub-Forum' that is named Grid2? and not Grid?

Probably because Grid and Grid2 have different authors ? and even if Grid2 is inpired by Grid, by reading the whole thread about Grid2 (yes I did it), it appears to me that it will handle things differently, with different libraries.

The problem is that this forum seems to have merely been renamed to Grid2 and still has threads related to Grid in it and yet it says discussions related to Grid2. If you wanted to make a section for Grid2 then it should have been a new forum. As it stands it is just confusing. Should say Discussion for Grid and Grid2 goes here and just be named Grid.

Old thread is old. Eventually we will be able to transition to Grid2. Meanwhile the forum name is just not that important, and claiming it is confusing compared to having the threads in the general section is dubious.
