![]() Grid is a modular and compact grid of party/raid unit frames written by Pastamancer and Maia. Optional modules can be assigned to up to 7 possible indicators -- each corner, a border center text and center icon -- to highlight specific units (and if you prefer to only show units in range, this is possible too). Grid comes with a bunch of modules -- aggro indicator, incoming heals, auras (debuff types, shield, renew, rejuv, mortal strike, ...), mana, health deficit, ... -- but it's easy to add your own modules (see the developer API). More information is available at: http://www.wowace.com/projects/grid/ Stable release versions can be downloaded at: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...ails/grid.aspx http://www.wowinterface.com/download...5747-Grid.html Development versions can be downloaded on the project page, but it is recommended that you stick with the release versions at the above download URLs unless you have a specific reason to use unstable alpha commits. Oh, and one thing.
Grid could possibly be done through an AGUF style and a simple module that fades units with low HP out. |

This is my current proposal:
![]() - square class colored health bars (column per raid subgroup), with a black 3px border - vertical depletion (the more black you can see, the less health the unit has, so in this example the warrior in grp1 and the hunter in grp3 have very low health). - 3px red aggro borders - 2px borders: (green = incoming heal, yellow = shield, grey = shield-debuff, blue = renew) with the priority shield > heal > shield debuff > renew (not perfect, I'm unsure how to display all 4 indicators at once) - units out of range will simply be treated as if they always had full health (no aggro/heal borders either) Thoughts? |

Seems rather nice, sorting the bars per class would be nice though, as it is in the pic - the many colors hurts my eyes, toning down the alpha could help with that though

The alternative is do inverse the health bars:
![]() then I'd tend to display a unit with <50% health as full square instead of half-filled square, as otherwise you won't be able to see much. |

You MUST make a mole face overlay appear over any unit that's close to death
![]() Actually, I'd go a step further than that; put a scoreboard overlay ontop of it that gives you points based on how fast you've reacted to situation. Make a game out of it. If i can't have fun playing WoW, maybe I can have fun playing the addon. |
