I was browsing, and didnt see anything that could display the currently playing track for a media player in wow. Does such a thing exist, or is there a reason why it cant?

i wouldn't attempt anything like this..
any way u do it you'd have to have wow and win amp interact API lvl, and that's always a read flag.. easier way IMHO, find a win amp plug in that puts that info into the clipboard and then paste it into wow

everything in that direction is forbidden by blizzard. they don't want anything that can automaticly get realtime information into or out of wow because something like that could be used for botting.

the only problem with that is i dont think it could handle a 25gb list of music, and id really like it to be easily navigable with my media buttons on my keyboard.
if it wont plugin to wow, than maybe ill check if there is an overlay for it, like teamspeak overlay. |

I wish i could afford a new keyboard, maybe one of these days. Ill see what options i have to pop up the mini player over a fullscreen app.

i think you can make winamp to a small bar that is always ontop and then you could set wow to fullscreen window mode.. so you can always see winamp and it don't take much space
