for a rather long amount of time my bEQL hasn't been working as intended, my options say "always open maximized" but it doesn't at all open maximized as if my quest log doesn't have this ability at all, my FramesResized Questlog is set to nil and I can't think of any other addon causing this problem.
I don't know if there is a way to list all addons except for writing all the folder names down manually (400 folders) in my deuceCommander I have only 3 "quest" addons, questannouncer, BEQL and GrindStatus... Love your addon! edit: There was an option called "Simple Quest Log" after disabling it + reloading the interface it fixed itself, how embarasing. maybe the tooltip should indicate it's the "standard" questlog, or maybe even say "you need to reload the interface for it to apply / go away.Still love the addon! |

yaryarikh:
show compelete notification and play sound is named "Info on quest completion" in the questlog options mouse over info is something different: if an item is a quest item it displays in its tooltip what the questname is and howmany are still needed (for mobs too) Uncontrollable: In the past bEQL forced to enable "Simple Questlog" if FramesResized were active, now it checks for the FramesResized option for questlog instead of the addon, but i think u had the old version too which turned off the questlog. In Simplequestlog there is no way to minimize/maximize the questlog coz its the Blizzard questlog without any modification... |

I really like this mod, my only request would be an option to, instead of "Hide completed quests", "Show title only for completed quests". I like to show completed quests in my log so I remember to turn them in, but I don't like to see the objectives.
Right now I can "Hide completed objectives" but that option removes them as I'm questing (which I don't like), or "Remove completed quests", but that option hides the title as well so I forget to turn the quest in. In the old EQL there was a 'middle-ground' sort of option like this, which was the way I liked best. This may be a big confusing, so I'll show you a mock-up to demonstrate what I mean and how it's different from the current modes. In this example I'm using red/green for uncompleted/completed objectives and yellow/blue for uncompleted/completed quest titles: http://junk.ionmine.com/beql.png |

Couple of feature requests:
Support for qComment or duplication of it's features, could probably use the weekly database build with the author's permission. qcomment(weekly): http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/7691/ Support for Lightheaded (if any required) Lightheaded: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ghtHeaded.html Support for Mobmap (if any required) Mobmap: http://www.mobmap.de/ Don't know if wow api supports the last request but here goes anyway: There could be an option to scan and populate quest history based on what quests have been done previously. Generally the quest history addons tracks quests from the moment you start using a quest history addon. With a 70 char which hasn't utilized a quest history addon I can't remember what quests I have done and what not. Given that the quests are pretty much catalogued in wowhead and other sites, a list of quests (names or ids) could be datamined and the history could be built from ground up based on the datamined list. I know if one tries to share a quest and someone has completed the quest there's a feedback text reflecting that. If all quest api functions are based on the current quests in log, I guess this can't be done - I lack the knowledge but someone here is bound to have the answer about the feasability of this feature. |

@Din:
ill added it to my todo list ![]() @Redbeard: Lightheaded and Mobmap are supported (im using them with beql too )ill check qComment too and for the quest history thing: yepp im planning to add a quest history viewer or quest list viewer which could be accessed from any of ur characters, in wowapi u have no functions to get quests which u did in the past, so the only solution is that u already wrote to build a db from the completed (or taken too) quests using the addon, sad thing there is no way to retrieve the past quests (before u used the addon) building a quest database is a very memory consuming action too, so i would only stick to storing only minimum info (a quest title, lvl, status: completed/abandoned etc and when, rewards choosen ?), and for using a quest db with descriptions and infos where to go/which mob to farm/what item to collect etc are already many mods out there... |
